Urgent Care Staff

Dr. Nairizi is a Board Certified Interventional Pain Specialist and Board Certified Anesthesiologist who is dedicated to treating patients with a wide array of chronic pain conditions, such as back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain. He is very passionate about his patients and his goal is to provide them with the best care possible. He believes that a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach that is tailored to the patient’s needs provides the best results. He also understands that successful treatment of painful conditions depends on identifying the underlying cause for the pain, not just masking it.

Dr. Nairizi is originally from Tehran, Iran. He received his medical degree from the Shahid Beheshti University School of Medicine in Tehran and later obtained a master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in cellular and molecular physiology. He then went on to complete his residency training at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Upon completing his fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Pennsylvania State University, Hershey Medical Center, Dr. Nairizi moved to Reno to join the practice.

Dr. Nairizi is involved with multiple educational seminars with regards to comprehensive and multimodal pain management in the Northern Nevada community. He is currently Co-Principal Investigator in multiple clinical trials and serves as the Chair of Membership Committee at Washoe County Medical Society, supporting the physician members at WCMS. He is also involved with educating health care providers with new technologies and treatment in the realm of chronic pain management. In 2017, Dr. Nairizi was awarded a silver medal in the category of Best Doctor for the “Best of Reno 2017” competition.

Dr. Nairizi is recognized as an industry leader in pain management. Reno Tahoe Pain Associates has a state-of-the-art facility in Reno, Nevada, that allows for us to offer the highest possible level of quality care of our patients.

Michele Wilson, NP graduated from Modesto Junior College with an associate degree in nursing, then received her Bachelor of science in Nursing from University of California Stanislaus in 2015.  She received her Master of Science in Nursing Family Practitioner from Perdu University in 2019.

Cameron Wheeler has received his Bachelor of Science from Portland State Universityin biology in 2012 and graduated from the University of Nevada Reno Master of Physicians Assistant Studies in 2023.

Jason has extensive knowledge and experience with nursing, exercise science, fitness, and sports performance. Jason has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/ Exercise Sport Science and was also a collegiate athlete in Baseball at Oklahoma City University . Jason also has over 12 years of experience as a Cardiac ICU nurse and was brought to Reno via a travel nursing assignment in 2015 at Saint Mary’s Hospital where he later met his wife and now calls Reno home.

Jason has gained a field of clinical knowledge and rehabilitation experience through his personal traumatic injury attained in 2013 where he was involved in a motor vehicle pedestrian accident, Jason being the pedestrian. Ever since Jason has had a passion for pain management, injury medicine, and rehabilitation and uses his experiences as a pain patient to help advocate and motivate his own patients. Jason obtained his Masters Degree in Nursing with his family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University in hopes to help people in pain, injury/ sports medicine.

In his free time, Jason enjoys multiple outdoor activities such as snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, golfing, camping, wing boarding, and playing disc golf.

Jason is excited to help serve and treat his community in Reno, Nevada and excited to be a part of an elite team that strives to help battle the current opiate epidemic with alternative, holistic style of medicine that incorporates mental, physical, and spiritual alignment to help facilitate pain management and improve quality of life for his patients.  

Jason is a Nurse Practitioner who is committed to providing respectful high-quality care and is committed to being his patients voice by advocating for each of his patients to ensure that each of their wishes and needs are met.
